Take your pick! Timber Ridge's free choice scheduling gives children from the third grade on a choice of over 43 different activities. From skating to stagecraft, if you like it, it's yours.

Free choice doesn't mean free time-we schedule rotation periods during the week when cabins participate in activities we've already chosen. This ensures a variety of activities for campers with a one-track mind.

The free choice system provides a truly unique camp experience. For younger kids in grades one thru three, days are always different and never dull - cabins participate together in pre-selected activities.

At Timber Ridge you’ll participate in group activities and team sports and also develop your individual talents. You'll have the opportunity to spend one-on-one time with tennis, baseball and swimming instructors, have an art lesson or be in a theatrical production! Your counselors help you choose your activities in order for you to get the most out of camp.

Set-up of program

The summer at Timber Ridge is divided into two activity rotations. You focus on six activities each day on an alternating "A" and "B" basis, otherwise know as “Green” and “White” days.

There's something for everyone here at Timber Ridge. We are known for our extensive sports curriculum, but we've also got a lengthy list of aquatic, artistic, musical and technological activities that spark the imaginations and interests of all kinds of kids. We offer the greatest variety of activities anywhere, all in an enthusiastic, fun-filled environment.
