Free Choice – Personally Tailored Scheduling

Take your pick! Timber Ridge's free choice scheduling gives children finishing third through tenth grade the opportunity to make their own schedule with nearly 45 different activities to choose from. Campers work with their counselors and specialty staff to select the activities they want. This makes each campers schedule fun and challenging!  From basketball to woodworking, if you like it - it's yours.

At Timber Ridge we also incorporate group activities and team sports to help develop individual talents. We schedule a few rotation periods during the week when cabins participate in assigned activities. This not only ensures campers gain exposure to a variety of activities, but also helps create those lifelong friendships that are so important in a complete camping experience.

Younger Campers

For younger campers in kindergarten through second grade, days are always different and never dull!  Cabins participate together in organized, diverse activities that expose these campers to all the activities camp has to offer.  They travel as a group with a counselor to give the necessary structure needed with younger children.
