There's something for everyone at Timber Ridge! We are known for our extensive selection of quality and diverse activities taught in an enthusiastic, fun-filled environment.  Our experienced instructors and coaches are trained to teach campers of all ability levels.  Whether a camper is a beginner or an expert, every camper feels like a pro!

Sports:

With 10 tennis courts, multiple batting cages, an indoor professional hardwood basketball court, beach volleyball courts and professionally lit baseball, softball, soccer and our famous football fields, athletes shine at Timber Ridge!  Our tennis program is renowned as one of the finest in the industry.  We even have our own USTA Tennis Tournament held on site. 

A favorite Timber Ridge tradition is Sunday Night Football, which is a flag football league that was started over 20 years ago by campers and counselors. Children love playing under the lights, while announcers broadcast and all of their friends are watching.

Visual & Performing Arts

Camp’s got talent…and lots of it! If your child likes to perform, then Timber Ridge is the place to be. We put on three plays in our Almost Heaven Playhouse, where every camper who tries out gets a role. Our circus program is taught by a team of professionals, who teach campers to fly on the Trapeze and participate in a circus show that we perform twice a summer for the rest of the camp

Water Sports:

Known as the “center of camp”, our swimming pool has a staff of Red Cross certified lifeguards to instruct all of the basics of swimming skills while providing a safe and fun place to relax and splash around.  For the canoeing, rope swing and tubing enthusiast, the Cacapon River surrounds our campus to provide the perfect natural setting.  For our adventurous campers, we also offer waterskiing on the Shenandoah River taught by our experienced instructors.
